Following her studies and employment as a research assistant at the Free University of Berlin, Karin Albers initially worked as an HR consultant and later as an HR manager at IKON AG (a manufacturer of security locking systems) and Berliner Stadtreinigung.
Karin Albers has been working at Deutsche Bahn AG since 2001. Following appointments at Group Management (manager development) and DB Heavy Maintenance (personnel management/depot management), she was most recently employed as Head of HR Management for the region Eastern Germany at DB Netz AG.
Stefan Schneider has been the Managing Director for Finance/Controlling at DB Kommunikationstechnik GmbH since March 2014.
Following his studies to obtain a diploma as a business economist at the University of the German Federal Armed Forces in Munich, Stefan Schneider held various managerial positions in the German Federal Armed Forces before becoming the Head of Controlling at BW Fuhrpark Service GmbH.
In 2007, Stefan Schneider joined the Deutsche Bahn Group where he initially was responsible for planning and reporting systems at DB Telematik GmbH. Prior to his appointment as Managing Director, Stefan Schneider was the Head of Controlling at DB Kommunikationstechnik GmbH.
